Zoom Spanish for Kids: Helping Children Become Spanish Speakers {SPONSORED}

This is a Tesoritos Online Enrichment Program sponsored post, but as always, all thoughts expressed are 100% my own.

In 2021, if an individual can speak Spanish, they can communicate with 80% of the world. Go ahead, read that sentence again.

spanish courseSpeaking Spanish opens doors.

My daughter just started taking Spanish this year in her Junior Kindergarten program and it is so fun to see how excited she is to learn a new language. Plus, to see how the words just seemed to roll off her tongue. I’m not going to lie; I am a tad jealous and wish I had started learning at her age. (But it is never too late!!)

One thing I do foresee in the near future is that, much like math, I am not sure I am going to be able to help her with Spanish homework! So it is important that she gets a firm foundation in these early years.

spanish courseIntroducing Zoom Spanish for Kids, an online Spanish enrichment program launching in San Diego this June!

This online Spanish enrichment program led by Vicky Perez. Vicky has one of those stories that just melts your heart. From the moment we first spoke to discuss her program, I fell in love with her enthusiasm and the passion she has for teaching Spanish. Which is why it wasn’t surprising to me that when I asked her what sets her classes apart from others, she replied simply with “the connection and bonds she makes with her students and how the students become excited about Spanish simply because she is so passionate about it”. That paired with the fact that Spanish is her first language that first language, which was taught to her by her Spanish Nana, a beloved woman from Durango that pretty much raised her while her mom, who was a single mother worked tirelessly to provide for her.

I work with a lot of people and businesses daily.  The ones that are as passionate as Vicky not only prosper and succeed, but inspire me to be a better mom, woman and business owner. I can’t wait to enroll Kaia in her program!

Head to the bottom of this post to hear some testimonials of families who have participated in her class.

The Program

Children receive two thirty-minute classes via zoom per week, using a whole language curriculum approach. So if you are like me and want to enhance your Spanish speaking skills, now is your opportunity to learn alongside your child. This program is designed to get the family involved.

What to Expect

  1. These 30-minute classes follow a seasonal themed, whole language curriculum Mrs. P. created, loosely based on what is used in Dual Language Classrooms all over the country.
  2. After using this curriculum in a classroom for years, she has adapted it to an online Zoom format which has opened her classes to children everywhere.
  3. Classes are capped at 12 students and require a parent’s help as the students learn with Mrs. P. Only 48 spots are available to begin June 15th, 2021.

Ready to sign up??

Classes are $25 per class or $50 per week. The commitment is for one month at $200. Small class sizes of no more than 12 students keep your child engaged, focused, and having fun.  The classes are ongoing until the last week of May when two or three morning classes will be offered.

Special for San Diego Moms only!

If you sign up and pay for a month, Zoom Spanish for Kids will waive the $25 deposit to save your spot. The first session for San Diego students starts June 15th and will run Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 10:00-10:30,10:45-11:15, or 4:00-4:30 Mountain Standard Time.
