Trick-or-Treat: Top Three Halloween Events in San Diego for Families

0

The Halloween season is upon us once again. Time for candy corn, spooky decorations, apple cider, and before we know it trick or treating. If you’re looking for something a little extra special to do with your family in San Diego this Halloween season, I have a few suggestions for you.

Halgloween at The San Diego Zoo

This year, the zoo will once again be hosting their popular Halgloween event. There are so many great offerings for you and your little ones to enjoy. Check out the bubble dance party.  If your kiddos are brave enough, they can explore Python Path. This path is a great way to ease your little ones in to the spookier aspects of the Halloween season. My favorite offering at Halgloween has to be the cupcake walk. If you’ve never done one, well then, you’re in for a treat. Halgloween will only be available the last three weekends in October and is included with your Zoo ticket. Click here for exact dates and times.

Brick-or-Treat at Legoland

How can you not have a good time when you combine Legos and Halloween? Legoland is hosting its annual Halloween celebration on Saturday nights from September 28th until October 26th. Make sure your little ones bring along their favorite treat pail or bag since there will be treat stations throughout the park. Special character meet and greets will also be available. Other offerings during the event include new shows, costume contests, and even Lego building activities. As an added bonus the rides tend to have shorter lines during these parties, so your kiddos can ride their favorite attractions without having much of a wait. Check here for the different ticket packages being offered for the event.

Halloween Spooktacular at Seaworld

Like Halgloween, this event is included with your Seaworld ticket. Halloween Spooktacular is not just about the trick or treating, although they do have tons of great candy and snack offerings. Your kiddos can get in the Halloween spirit with their favorite Sesame Street characters at the Sesame Street Halloween Parade. New this year is the Fall Festival and the Fall Festival Hay Maze. Here, the kids can find their way through a maze of hay bales with the help of Gourdy the scarecrow. While the parents can indulge in festive drinks and snacks. For the bigger kids in your group be sure to check out Manta Madness. This thrilling coaster gets a little spooky treatment of its own. You can check here for all the special offerings during Halloween Spooktacular.

I wish you all a safe and fun Halloween season. Happy Hauntings!
