I think one of my biggest struggles with motherhood early on was in realizing the value of the tribe. In general, I rarely ask for help. Don’t get me wrong, my family has bailed me out more than I would like to admit. But the reality is, they wouldn’t have had to bail me out if I just asked for help earlier.
So . . . the transition into motherhood was a tough one for me, to say the least. I was a single mother with a newborn and I should have asked for more help. Period.
Now, I want to encourage mothers to not feel shame in asking for help and to feel empowered when they in fact ask for help and give support to other moms. This is in essence the mission and goal of ‘Strong Mother‘ and the “As Strong as the Mother Next to Me” brand which includes apparel, a podcast, blog, editorial series, and community.

Introducing the “As Strong as the Mother Next to Me” Weekly Spotlight.
We are SO excited to announce we will be launching a weekly spotlight that will highlight and celebrate Moms right here in San Diego and across the globe that believes in building up and supporting moms. Our hopes are that if we can debunk the idea that you have to take on this journey alone, as a community of moms we will all walk away stronger, inspired, and that we will raise stronger children and become better partners.

Giving Back
A portion of all proceeds from all sales will go to March of Dimes. March of Dimes fights for the health of all moms and babies. They are advocating for policies to protect them. They are working to radically improve the health care they receive. They are pioneering research to find solutions. There are empowering families with the knowledge and tools to have healthier pregnancies. By uniting communities, they are building a brighter future for all.
Bringing forth the light and love within each big moment a family experiences from generation to generation. Based in San Diego, she also services other areas of Southern California including San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange and Ventura Counties.
