San Diego Art Camp is held every summer in Balboa Park and is focused on art, including photography, digital media, ceramics, Painting/Drawing, music, and dance for children 1st – 6th grade, minimum age 6 years old see detailed program , frequently asked questions & Cancelation Policy

2023 Registration starts on March 6th at 6 am
The activities will be Ceramics, Painting, Photography, Dance, and a walk around the park with a museums and Spanish Village Art Center visit. The instruction will be mostly at the outside tables covered by tents in front of the House of Czech and Slovak Republics.
Maximum 25 students | sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis | 1st – 5th grade, age 6 – 11 years old

Sample Daily Schedule
- 9 am – 12 am – morning activities including snack
- 12 – 1 pm – lunchtime
- 1 pm – 4 pm – afternoon activities including snack
- All participants will be divided into two groups on the first day of our camps. Please, let us know if you have preferences for placing your child with a friend, sibling, etc. This can be, of course, changed during the week if necessary 🙂
- Both groups will check in at 9 am in front of the House of Czech and Slovak Republics.
- Group I will leave the cottage at about 9:15 am walking around the park, taking pictures for the photography class and enjoying the Balboa Park museum visits.
- Group II will stay, working outside the cottage using the folding tables and tents for shade making ceramics, painting, drawing etc.
- We will switch the groups at lunchtime. Both groups will eat together at the tables and on the lawn.
