We started the day with a one-hour trail ride, which was hands down one of both Kaia’s and my favorite parts of our staycation. Fairmont Grand Del Mar offers an array of equestrian adventures. There’s an inexplicable healing quality to being around horses, and both Kaia and I thoroughly enjoyed our time. I found the stable team to be knowledgeable, exceptionally kind, and engaging, making this experience one of the standout highlights!

Tis the Season
After an afternoon of horseback riding, enjoying the scenic walks, and some poolside fun (yes, in December), we finished the already perfect day with a Fire Pit reservation at Grand Social, complete with s’mores, bocce ball, Glice Skating, and a visit from Santa himself!
