SDM Cares supports St Paul’s senior citizens – CBS News 8
We spent the morning with Ashley Jacobs of CBS 8 News at St. Paul’s Senior Services. our SDMB Cares volunteers made Christmas crafts with seniors utilizing the PACE program at St. Paul’s PACE El Cajon. We also hosted a donation drive for the PACE program all month long. The PACE program is one-stop shop for senior citizens who want to live in their own homes, but need care during the day; they get meals, physical therapy and even clinical care dependent upon their individual needs.

SDM Cares, is a new initiative of the San Diego Moms Blog. Our mission is simple: to support and connect families to local non-profits through volunteering, fundraising and raising awareness. As moms, we are always being asked about our “secrets”– to looking good, feeling great, and just making it through the workweek with our smiles intact. We can chalk at least some of our success up to tried and true Mom Hacks! A little experience with a busy schedule and active kids and spouses can train you for just about anything.
